Longing to Travel?
Is your internal travel bug longing to spread its wings and fly? Seeking tropical adventure? Are you missing your tropical getaway? If so, you are not alone. Sadly, this year many of us are unable to travel due to the pandemic and travel restrictions.
Spring often provides an excellent opportunity for travel. There are so many amazing places to explore. Travel is that opportunity to explore and embrace the natural beauty of a new destination. As a photographer, I am gifted with the ability to share a visual story of our magnificent world.
Below is a stroll down memory lane, a snippit of my tropical travel photos to inspire your future travel. The beauty of travel enriches our lives. Unique excursions provide a break from the mundane, resulting in magnificent and magical new experiences. Joy can be found in experiencing new flavourful foods to expand our pallets. New cultural experiences and history provide knowledge. Travel has always been that opportunity to develop new life-long friendships. For those who love to travel is is all about “seeing it with your own eyes”. There is nothing like a first hand nature or wildlife encounter. My first ocean encounter with whales and dolphins left me hooked. I hope my photos will make you smile and excite the travel bug within you. Check out the new tropical images I have just released to my Animals & Botanicals Gallery. Start dreaming and planning. This too shall pass, and the world will be ours to explore.
Until then, let’s look local. Perhaps this is the opportunity to support local business and seek new adventures in our own backyard.

My heart beats faster. My mind sparks with anticipation. My entire body is filled with endorphins! Pure joy, and I’m still standing in the airport.
I have loved to travel and explore since I was a child. Blessed to have experienced new and exciting travels all over Canada. The awe and magic of something completely new. Canada holds unique and beautiful landscapes, beaches and of course animals. It’s no wonder I have a love of nature, culture and travel. Those experiences were one of the greatest gifts my parents gave me.
With that said, as I aged, I would tease my parents that I believed my soul was misplaced at birth. I was meant to live much closer to the equator. The sun, sand and heat are my element. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I began traveling to tropical locations. After all these years my life long belief has been confirmed. I am meant to spend a good chunk of my time closer to the equator. Not so much for the sun and sand, but because I feel so connected to the people, culture and land. Mexico feels like my second home. Nature in all its glory grounds me. So whether I am exploring Canada or a tropical destination I find peace, happiness and connection. These are the feelings that fill me and make me content. Whatever it is that drives your travel bug… do that!
My adventures in Mexico hold so many stunning images I couldn’t possibly share them all here. Please visit my website to see the new images I have added for you to experience a visual getaway.
Thank you for taking the time to view my work. Take care.
